The plant, located in Kagithapuram, Tamil Nadu, has a production capacity of 4.00 lac tons per annum (TPA). Currently, the Tamil Nadu government holds the majority stake of 35.32% after the sale of IDBI's shares. In addition, a new board plant has been constructed near Trichy with an annual capacity of 2.00 lak MTPA, which began operations in May 2016. The company has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications.
