18 days agoIndian Oil Corporation Limited was formed through the merger of Indian Oil Company Limited and Indian Refineries Limited. According to a credit rating report, the refining and marketing company is owned by the Government of India and is responsible for 11 of India's operational refineries and 22 operational refineries. As of March 2017, the company's refineries had a combined capacity of 80.7 MTPA. In February 2016, IOCL successfully launched a 15 MTPA refinery in Paradip. Currently, the company operates CGD (City Gas Distribution) networks in Agra and Lucknow through its joint venture with GAIL (India) Limited, known as Green Gas Limited. Additionally, IOCL is also working on implementing CGD projects in Chandigarh, Allahabad, Panipat, Daman, Ernakulam, Udhamsingh Nagar, and Dharwad through its joint venture with the Adani group, known as Indian Oil-Adani Gas Private Limited. The company was established in 1959 and has its registered office in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
