How premium viewing and credits work on The Company Check

Premium users can view every profile and database on The Company Check without using credits. Credits are only used when you update legal-entity data or export data from the portal.

No credits are required for viewing any data

With a premium plan, you see data exactly as we have it in our databases. Opening profiles, switching tabs and running searches does not consume credits.

  • • Full access to every profile on the portal: companies, brands, investors, people, financials, funding, acquisitions, IPOs and more.
  • • All databases are unlocked for on-screen use — including Indian legal entities, global brands, deals, people and news.
  • • Credits are kept separate and only used when you ask us to refresh legal-entity data or download data.

Think of premium as "all profiles unlocked". Credits are simply tools for keeping specific legal-entity data fresh and for exporting the data you need.

Screening credits

Used for updating legal-entity data

Screening credits are used when you want our team to update or refresh the data of a legal entity (for example, an Indian company).

  • • One screening credit is consumed when you request an update for a specific legal entity.
  • • Our team updates the profile from publicly available legal sources like MCA, courts, RBI and other regulators.
  • • After the update, the refreshed information appears on the portal and is available to all users.

Opening an existing legal-entity profile does not use credits. Screening credits only apply when you trigger an update.

Export credits

Used for exporting data

Export credits are used whenever you export data from the portal into a file you can use in other tools.

  • • Spend export credits to download company, brand, investor, deal or people data.
  • • Exports are provided in structured formats (for example CSV or Excel) so they are easy to use in your CRM, spreadsheets or BI tools.
  • • On-screen viewing stays unlimited; export credits only count when you generate a download.

Use export credits when you want to take data out of The Company Check — not for exploring inside the portal.

Credit validity: All screening and export credits attached to your premium plan remain available until the end of your plan's validity. If the plan is not renewed, any unused credits will expire with the plan.
